Return to DiscussionsIf you go about your everyday activities nude whenever possible, simply because it's more comfortable that way and there's no need for clothes, then you're a nudist. If there are situations when you need to be dressed (work,going to store, etc.) you're still a nudist who happens to have clothes on.
That is SO true. You don't have to go out naked in public to be a nudist. But after being naked at home try stepping it up a notch. Social nudity is awesome, whether it is at a club, in a resort or on a beach. There is something special about being naked in public, especiallywith other nudes.
Why does everything have to have a title. If you enjoy being nude and do it when practicle, youre a nudist. I get tired of hearing titles all the time. "Dont use the word lifestyle, dont call it a nudist colony, use the proper word, ex: nude, nudist, naturist, au natural." My word! Where does it ever end. I thought nudist were more accepting and easy going.
I totally agree with you on this. Unfortunately nudist are just humans without clothes so the still pursue their natural since of order.
That's why some are so pedantic about sitting on towels, others don't careSome will say no physical connection or emotion like cuddling or kissing in public, others don't care.
Me I don't care I go to a beach for me not others, if its textile fine, but I prefer being nude it to do that we go to a nude beach.This pigeon holing has to stop.
You know this goes along with whole you have to have photos on here to prove you are a nudist and if you don't then you're not a true nudist. I can see the certify pics but anyone can take a nude photo of themselves and say they are a nudist. I am new to nudism and right now am comfortable being naked at home until I get up the nerve to try something else. I get naked after work and on weekends I can sometimes go 2 days without getting dressed. I would love to be nude 24/7 but at this time not possible. So being nude for more then a shower or sex, you are a nudist.

Exactly! If I'm not a nudist - there are no nudists. If I can be naked, I'm naked. 99.99% of the time I'm a home nudist.
I work from home and the kids are grown and gone. I'm nude all but about 15 hours every week. We have a pool in a private back yard where I get to be outside. I sometimes get to fish naked if I can find a secluded cove on the lake - but I'm usually alone. On occasion when I travel I'll meet up with someone I know from here and hang out. On a very rare occasion I'll get to a beach or resort. But no matter where I am or what I'm doing, if I can be naked I am. I'm a nudist. So are you!

I think you can call yourself anything you like. If you want to call yourself a home nudist then call yourself a home nudist. You can call yourself a cab if you like (hahaha...little play on words there).
The point being there is not official nation wide nudist organization that defines rules. Just enjoy yourself and anyone whom you happen to evangelize into joining you.
Nude at home, nude on a beach, nude at a resort. Who cares? If you enjoy life without clothes I reckon that makes you a nudist.
