At home in the fall/winter
Return to DiscussionsI got through last fall and winter (my first as a full fledged nudist) by wearing an open robe to stay warm but still be naked underneath. Certainly not as good as being completely nude but have to stay warm somehow! However, the other day as I was undressing after work I stopped to do something after I was naked from the waist down. I ended up staying this way for the rest of the evening: Shirt only. I like the much better than having a robe that covers me completely unless I open it up (and even then my butt is still covered. So, somewhat by accident, this is my new cold weather indoor attire!
Got a more efficient heater over the summer.Debating between keeping the house at the same temperature as priors years and saving money and helping the environment or raising the heat a few degrees so I can be nude at home most of the winter.Anyone have thoughts on this?
I try to balance comfort with responsible energy use too. I'm gone a lot and keep the thermostat low so it may be hours after I get home before I can undress comfortably. In really cold weather I stay dressed in sweats. It's really OK. Then if it's been too long between nude recreation times, I might hike up the thermostat for an evening. I Donald Duck sometimes in a pullover but an open robe or shirt just gets in my way.
I have said it a thousand times I won't spare the thermostat. Almost my entire work career I froze to death on a daily with winters being long and frigid. I can afford to crank the stat so I do. Besides there is another reason to crank the stat. When the wife comes home from our office and gets busy about the house she will sometimes forget to undress. I view that as an emergency situation and hit the stat again. It will dawn on her she is hot, give me "the look" (all husbands know this look) and undress. :D

Posts like that make me wish there was a thumbs up button ;-) I have read a lot of threads about how to get the wife involved in being naked. Never heard of making it too hot for her to remain clothed, GOOD one ;-) LOL
