Naked At Home - 2014 / 2024 -

For people who like to be naked in the house...

Damn mid-Illinois weather. Its really difficult to walk around the house nude, unless you crank up the furnace. At least for a fledgling nudist. Also a penny pincher, because the furnace doesnt go up appropriately. But last Friday was a day of decent weather and I walked around the house in happiness and a free feeling. It was a thrill and relaxing. Also the longest in a number of months. I look forward to the many more to come..

Update on Feeling Free. I now have the house to myself. As I prepare the house for sale and organize my belongings, I get to throughly embrace nudism throughout the house. Also get to venture out on the patio and a small area in the back of the house. Talk about Feeling Free Now I am nude more than I am clothed.
Not looking forward to downsizing to an apartment but I will be a home nudist when I get there. Wish I hadnt waited so long to indulge in the lifestyle.

Good time to decide if you have more clothing than you need and get rid of the excess.

Had the same problem this winter in the Northeast US while working from home. Didn't want to heat up the whole house if just one of us was home for the day.
Put a small heater by the work area and the warmth on the cool skin was great. Of course spring/summer are the best, but this was good too.

How much time do you spend nude in warm weather?
Did you get rid of a lot of your clothing when you moved?

RE:Feeling free

I guess it's time I give a "move to apartment" update. Just under a month since moved and while I work to organize and settle-in, I am naked! Living on the third floor, while overlooking a lake. Nobody can see me as I walk from room to room. It has been an enjoyable freeing feeling. Would like to venture out onto the balcony in the raw, but I haven't met the neighbors yet. I don't want to freak them out. Once it's dark, I have thought I could. Just to enjoy an air bath, like Benjamin Franklyn did..... One day I might partake.
As to me getting rid of my clothes.... well, I don't like to throw good usable items away. What I call "horder tendencies", makes it hard to get rid of things. I have donated many of them, but keep in mind. When living in an apartment, laundry services are elsewhere. So, the more clothes you have, the less trips to the laundromat.... In theory, the less I wear, the fewer trips I will be taking...... Win, Win!!!!
Like all those unused spices in the pantry and half used shampoo bottles in the shower. The remaining clothes will hang in the closet, hoping one day to be used.... gathering dust.

One approach I have read about that may work for you. Put dividers in your closet and drawers. Every time you wear and wash something, put it on the other side of the divider.
After a year or so, donate or trash anything that is still on the original side.
