the average person walking down the street? I mean, are they
less likely to claim they are offended, if you answer the door naked, than other people?
This question might also apply to service or repair people
too.I have always tried to avoid such situations because of
the possible consequences, butI've seen several comments in
various places around TN to make me wonder about this.
I've delivered pizza for six years now. I've seen it all...all ages, sizes, shapes and colors. I enjoy every encounter. Not because I got to see body parts that are not normally exposed out in public, but because these people are choosing to be as comfortable as possible and not worried about what they pizza guy is thinking. Of course I might have a different view point than most delivery drivers since I too undress in my home. But still. It's your home and if they are uncomfortable seeing your balls, breasts, or ass then that's on them
If someone knocks or rings the bell and I don't feel like dressing I just ignore it, If a signature was required they can bring it back.
Thankfully we rarely get people coming to the door in the evenings and weekends so it's not often a problem. Mar is home during the weekday but isn't naked.
Having said that, there a re a couple of times recently where we have done just that. One was a lovely older lady who mar once agreed to do a survey for. Now she sees Mar as a soft touch and keeps coming back. A bit of a nuisance yes, but I would still not think about using my nudity to dissuade her.
Delivery people are just an ordinary cross section of society trying to earn a living as best they can.As such they are neither more nor less comfortable with nudity than the rest of the population.
What this topic does tell us, therefore, is that people as a whole are far more tolerant of nudity than the noisy minority (who claim to be the silent majority) would have us believe.
I have never answered my door nude but then we have a gate and the house is 300ft from the road. I did see quite a few delivery trucks at the nude resort when I camped there last year. But then they know they are heading into a nudist resort so I'm sure they aren't shocked.

One of the things I've noticed about vendors and contractors visiting nude venues to sell or preform varies services, ALWAYS take extra time to do their jobs.
At our club: the propane delivery guy, the landscaping guys, trash pick up, bottled water delivery ... all of these guys take 3 times as long to do the same job at our club as they would in the textile world! hahahahahaha ... not mad at them but they aren't kiddin' anyone!
At our favorite resort, now closed, the lawn maintenance guys, the pool guy and the handyman ... man, they took forever to get some of the simplest tasks done. I watched as the resort handyman would walk around in circles trying to waste time and most of the time he wasn't even watching where he was going. Ran into patio furniture and lounges more times than not! hahahahaha

That goes for me too. At home I always cover up for a delivery guy or repair man. And in a nudist resort the staff and workmen know what to expect. You can tell who the guests/customers are - they are the ones without clothes. Once a year BN has a week end in a big hotel at Alton Towers. The staff take it in their stride even though the hotel is only filled with nudists for those three days each year.
Once some paramedics had to revive me and airlift me out of a nudist resort. The action attracted a lot of attention from the other holiday makers. But the medics were totally professional, ignoring the naked crowd around them.

I cover up for repair men, but for deliveries I start with half my body behind the door. If I need two hands to take the parcel, or they want a signature, I decide either to make a play of getting covered, or just let them see more.
