Nudism and your sex life.....
Return to DiscussionsI have been single for around 10 years now so I can't answer a question I have wondered about for many years. I'm curious how being a nudist would be a positive or semi negative influence on a couple's sex life. Picture a non nudist couple at home, the husband is doing things in the home, when the wife calls him into the bedroom. He goes in there and sees his wife laying naked on the bed. A alarm goes off in the husbands head, he smiles and sexual foreplay begins.Now picture a nudist couple in the same situation. When the wife calls him into the bedroom and he sees her laying naked on the bed, he will have a straight face and say, "Yah, what do you want?". They are so used to seeing each other naked that being nude won't ding any sexual alarm bells.So my question is this: Does nudism affect your sex life? Does it help or hurt the mood? Positive or negative? Have you experienced this and how did you cope with it?
We have been together for 18 yrs and all of that time naked was always happening. We have always been the affectionate touchy feelie types and enjoy a very active sex life to this day. So I guess I can say it was never a negative in anyway. I've said it before, I don't take my wife's nudity for granite EVER. Still get excited, inspired and a lifting of spirit when she peels those clothes off. Worst part of the day is the morning when she gets dressed for work. At least she humors me and wears form fitting pants that I can watch her walk around in at the office.
An interesting and lighthearted discussion. I think that deep down I've had the nudists attitude all my life (except maybe when going through puberty). I went skinny dipping in my 20's, went to the spas & saunas in Europe, and the beaches. I never thought anything of it. My wife though, was never into it, so I went to the sauna with friends, both male and female, no big deal, no embarrassing issues, ever.
Now I find myself single again and am nude most of the time around the house, though Suzie, my rescue pup, makes me put something on when I walk her.
But the question does come to mind, because my next partner will come into the relationship knowing how I am. I guess that it will be interesting, to say the least.
I feel that Nudism has reduced my desire to be sexually active, which for me is a good thing.Being nude, I see people for who they truly are and not just what they look like.I love the openness of myself and others of being truely FREE.
I agree... There is a line between nudiism and sex. Hanging out nude doesn't always lead to sex. Admittedly since I work from home while my wife is in the office I tend to spend more time naked alone. Which, I do catch myself absentmindedly fondling myself while working.
