Naked At Home - 2014 / 2024 -
For people who like to be naked in the house...
nudists
Return to DiscussionsI've always enjoyed being nude, but found my circle of friends to be uncomfortable and resident to the idea, so several years ago I decided to put a strong effort to find like minded friends who understood that nudity didn't have to be dirty or sexual...
I'm pleased to report through TN I managed to find friends online at first but with time, trust and effort many of those friendships translated to real life... Now I have a large circle of nudist friends and enjoy a busy nude social life.
The most important thing in finding friends, nude or otherwise, is being yourself and avoid having a second agenda... the nudist friends I've made and have kept over the years have been people who share similar interests beyond nudism and agreed to NOT mix sexuality into the mix... sex has a way of sometimes complicating friendships, so I've found it's best kept out of equation to ensure the friendship stands the test of time. I have also found those that I've met online who tend to blur the line between nudity and sex are people who tend to be looking for hook-ups and not true friendships, and therefore avoid meeting them in person... It's important to build trust and confirm intentions online before meeting anyone in person.
Hope my experience helps others find life long nudist friends as I did :-)
I have been successful in meeting many great friends through TN and via local nudists social groups or our nude beach.Several that I have befriended overseas have been generous to host me when I travel and I would love to reciprocate if they came to Australia.Like all friendships, they require being open and making an effort and be able to regularly communicate, even if it is only a couple of times a year.
Very good question and topic. Not something you can bring up on a City street. I would love to find a answer as I am looking for local nudist friends too. I belong to the local nudist club, but majority are couples and can be aloof to singles. So I'm curious too.....where would you search and how do you start the conversation?R.
I know several and I make no bones aboutA nudist is a true friend and doesnt hide things from you and you can trust them
I agree. While I don't have any current nudist friends, I haven't been involved in 15 years, but when I was more active, I found that I preferred the company of other nudists. It was more than a shared desire to be naked. The reason I joined TN was so that I may establish a few friendships both locally and world-wide with other nudists.
How many actual nudist friends do you know in real life? Other then the obvious, clubs, beach, here (tn) where do you think the best place is to make nudist friends??
None up front and personal, maybe half a dozen online, but half of them are in the same city and I'm working on it.I would rather get to know someone gradually, before opening up to them. It's easier on-line, but through a network or home club would be fine too.
It was pretty thin when it came to nudist friends as we were secret home nudist for 15 yrs. We did have one couple friends that had been to a club. Then we met a couple from TN and introduced us to our now home club. Many near and dear nudie friends now but it is never enough!
