High rise life
Return to DiscussionsI am currently staying on the 10th floor of a condo building in Lima Peru. Last night I stood out on the balcony , nude of course, and watched the city. Diagonal across the wide street is a similar building. Many full ht windows had no blinds and I could see people going about their lives. No full nudity but several guys in boxers. Do any of you live in a highrise and have stories of seeing or being seen by other highrise dwellers? My home is rural and I love my private setting. But have pondered moving to a city and living in a highrise. I think I would end up being as casual about closing blinds there as I am in my rural home.
I used to stay with a friend whose 14th floor apartment overlooked a 13th floor apartment in the next building where the two guys ran around nude all the time. They gave the impression of exhibitionist more than nudist. A lot of folks in high rises keep binoculars by the windows. So, yes, there are voyeurs too (my friend did not, as it goes). I suppose some neighbors will be bothered and some not, and some will find it titillating. So you will definitely be on display. As I consider a move to the city I am looking for a setting that allows me to be naked with with a nice view, but with minimal intrusion by strangers' eyes.

I have spent a lot of time in hotels in large cities where I look out and wonder if I will see something in another building, but so far nothing.
