Driving in the nude.
Return to DiscussionsThis past Saturday my wife and I just purchased a brand new Hyundai Tucson. It has all kinds of fancy bells and whistles in it including A/C vented seating. I was so excited to test it out nude that I did just that on the drive home from the dealership. Windows down and panoramic sunroof open. What an awesome feature. I'll be driving that car in the nude quite a bit from now on.
I can't say that I've ever tried driving while nude...sounds interesting. I may have to give it a try.
It's not for everyone. Some denounce the practice of driving naked and equate it to exhibitionism but I strongly disagree. Take the precautions necessary so you're not seen by others and enjoy the freedom and the ride! Once you've tried it, it's a good possibility it won't be your last time of doing it! ;-)
I can't see how my naked driving could be construed as exhibitionism. Unless it's too cold for when I get home I always drive home bottomless. I've done that for at least the last two years.
I've also managed on 3 occasions to drive completely naked, either very late at night or very early in the morning (well, actually the very late nights were really VERY VERY early morning LOL)
I am 100% certain that I did this only for comfort and relaxation while driving and 100% certain it was not for exhibitionist reasons and 100% that I've never been seen by anyone other than Mar when she meets me at the door

Exactly my point when I disputed the claim that driving naked was done for exhibition purposes!
All our vehicles, with the exception of my classic car and motorhome, have dark tinted windows. All of our cars, with the exception of the classic car are high profile. I've been driving naked for over 40 years, 32 of those back and forth to work, without incident. I, too and still do, drive naked for comfort and as an extension of my nudist life at home. I drive naked at ALL hours of the day, in traffic, on the freeways, highways, city streets and I've driven naked in every country, state, county, city and town we've ever visited. I've even driven rented cars naked and when I do drive a car that is not high profile and does not have dark tinted windows, I always have a large enough towel I sit on that I can throw the other half over my lap during those times I think I could be seen. That doesn't sound exhibitionist to me but ... I've still had those arguments with some here on TN.

Someone suggested this group shouldn't be for discussing driving nude. How about in the garage? :). I love driving nude because it's an extension of being home that way. I find it particularly nice when I can get in my car naked in the garage and return home the same way, without ever getting dressed. It feels good not to get dressed at all. Very liberating. Last spring I spent a week with my wife at a cabin in the middle of nowhere. I stayed naked all week. When we headed home I lamented having to get dressed. My wife, who isn't a nudist, told me to stay nude and she'd drive me home. When we got there I was able to stay undressed at home for 3 more days. Being home nude and extending it by staying nude in the car is a wonderfully completing experience.
I have spent the day nude at the Rolling Fork River then drove the 18mile trip home nude. I have even been able to walk from the car into the house nude. I loved it.
Do it as often as I can, even to work on hot days. Just take my chances that no-one else will turn up while getting dressed!
Whenever we go away in summer I drive nude - best I have done is driven from Brisbane to Sydney (Australia) - about 1000km - and only wrapped a sarong around me to get petrol! Like swimming nude and living nude, there's nothing more exhilarating.
Hi, I have driven nude a few times, its a strange feeling I must say, as for many years whenever behind the wheel of the car am always dressed, so the first few times I did this it felt so strange indeed, now its just exciting, the feeling of being free from cloths.

It's amazing how quickly you get used to it though, and if you do it regularly, how much you miss it when you can't. At the moment I'm not because it's far too cold when I get home. I can't wait for it to get warmer.
Also, I only drive bottomless - shoes, socks, trousers, and neck tie off (go commando anyway). This is enough to allow me to relax and de-stress on my way home. As much as I am used to doing this though, just going that bit further and taking off my shirt takes it to a whole new level of comfort
