Naked At Home - 2014 / 2024 -

For people who like to be naked in the house...

I see so many posts from the guys, mainly about shaving their crotch or if they are hard....which bugs the heck out of me, so I thought lets try something different. I would like to hear women post on here. How did they get into nudism? What is it that they like about nudism? What would they say to a textile woman about nudism? I'm curious to hear this fresh new topic from women.

RE: A woman's view

I started nudism 3 years ago when my fiance told me that he was a nudist. I slowly got my children to try it out and they only do it at home. I have gone to a small re-sort in LA a handful of times and some of the young crowd goes but more middle aged people go. I like it that way since there are so many swingers that approach me and my fiance. I don't go for that but to each their own. I believe sex is personal and should be kept between a couple. That's my own opinion. I love meeting new people and I felt very comfortable around other products who are nude. I was more worried about people seeing me and I be judged of my fiance looking at another female in a lustful way. I kept it cool and I enjoyed myself each ti.e I went. I am nude a good bit of the time but mostly when it's time for bed. When children have been clothed for so long it's hard to instill a healthy habit like nudism in their life.

RE: A woman's view

I know you want replies from women but, if it's any consolation, I'm a man and the endless threads about erections and shaved crotches bore the life out of me too!

Me too, I'm sick of everything being peniscentric!Unfortunately society and social conditioning will take a VERY long time to fix, if it ever will.
Men are conditioned into believing that sex is key, and size and performance are everything. We're constantly being told, especially around puberty that we should sow our wild oates. and that girls are mountains that need climbing.
On the other hand, girls are conditioned into thinking that they should be cherished, and saved, and locked in a chest until marriage. They also have to learn very early on how to be defensive and evasive and how to survive in the environment created by the above.
This results in both men and women seeing the human body as sexual, either as pray or to protect.
The results of this social conditioning are many. MOST men can never live up to what is *expected* and initally lie ( how many boys in your school year had had sex, but none of the girls had - who did they have sex with?), suffer inadequacy and inferiority, and hopefully come to terms with it.
How many women live their lives in fear of what is, unfortunately, a very real threat?
If you are born into nudism then you have a huge advantage. If you are not born into it then you have to overcome a huge hurdle. For men, it is overcoming the social conditioning.
For women, not only do they have to overcome the social conditioning, but they also have to overcome their fears.
I find it a real shame that we live in a world where I even have to hide that fact that I take my shoes off when I sit at my desk. A world where exceeding the speed limit is accepted, but walking topless - even for a man - is not.
Sorry, I drifted off topic a bit LOL
As I've said elsewhere, anything new is scary. Social nudity is especially so. Add that into this the mix of physical insecurity you will end up with people worrying about their bodies. Unfortunately, for men, their main insecurities and anxieties are about their penis.

First of all men keep bringing up the same subjects so they can everyone focus on their manhood. In one thread a guy managed to ease into telling us that he had 9 inches. Please stop making excuses. Its just another way to show off in writing. If it was truly anxiety then the wording would be much different.
Second, our parents were clothing casual...so to speak. They didn't care if my sister and I dressed or not. He and mom stayed naked after showers, after work for a time or after waking up and having coffee. We would all dress appropriately depending on the weather, too. Their attitude made us more confident and less insecure. In junior high and high school we took showers after gym without hesitation and didn't stand huddled in a corner afraid. Hubby got more relaxed as he got older in college and after graduation, but I set the example and he followed along nakedly when I led him. I mean, would you follow a naked woman around? LOL
As everyone has said many times nudism is sooo relaxing. I work at home and stay much cooler in the summer months. I can go out back to our patio, work and be able to focus much more when I'm comfortable. A white fluffy robe is all I need to answer the door for the mail carrier or pizza delivery. Sleeping is much nicer. Hubby and I can feel the warmth of each other while we're sleeping. It keeps us nice and cozy and closer in our marriage.
Hubby and I have a few nudist items around that give people clues like the AARN publication and sometimes one of us will wear a nudist t-shirt. My neighbor across the street hesitantly asked me about it once and I told her in matter of fact kind of way. I told her its not about being sexual. Just a nice way to do everything things in a more casual, relaxed manner. She liked the idea and not only is a home nudist when possible, but comes over for naked coffee a few mornings a week. She still works outside the home. She will put on her robe and bring her clothes over so she can get over early enough, dress at our place and then head out for the day. Her husband gets too busy, so he has limited time and doesn't participate, but encourages her and loves the fact that she is enjoying it so much.
I have told a few women here and there, but I am careful. Many people are sensitive about subjects like nudism. If I make a joke and they seem receptive then I might move forward with a discussion.

RE: A woman's view

I was put off being nude in public because of my weight, a couple of scars, and the feeling that to be accepted as a nude female you had to be young, slim, attractive etc. I fell for the myth that people (males in particular) would judge you for not being "sexy" or "pretty", and I was slightly sceptical that nudism wasn't really about sexual attractiveness at all. After finding out more, I was stunned on my first group meeting that I felt totally accepted and that I felt less judged than I do walking down the street clothed.

RE: A woman's view

I love the woman's view. Like fresh air next to the idiot posts of "Crotch and Shave". This is so much more interesting and written with so much thought. Some of the stories talked of leading their male mates into nudism. That caught me off guard as all women I have talked to at our club we introduced to nudism by the males. I have searched for a female nudist soul mate but pretty much gave up as there none around here....lol. And the post about the worry of being judged by men. I loved that! I have to say that there are heavy women, older women, scared women, at our club......and every one of their nude bodies are beautiful. They look better nude than they do with clothes. Oh, the part of being around the young female "Hard Bodies".....we have older and the young hotties at the club and you would never know there was a difference. Nobody judges, everybody is equal, and everybody gets along so well. All on the same level. So Women.....keep this thread going......I want to ear more. This is great! Thank you!
