Return to DiscussionsIt should be no more of an issue than a woman's nipples getting hard from a cool breeze. I have had it happen a few times but as several people have stated, covering up with a towel or just sitting down for a few minutes usually takes care of it. I would not go wandering around poolside showing it to everyone. I think it is more objectionable here in the U.S. than other countries, because of our prudish upbringing.

I have to agree with you....I have only been an active nudist for 6 yrs. but have never had a problem when seeing other people nude in a social setting. Its the the difference between being nude and the sexual aspect of being naked. Just my opinion.
I get hard all the time on the beach, but I tend to go to the end of the beach where it seems to be more acceptable.
As to getting hard in people's homes, well I can only go by my home when I had my flat and I invited some nudist friends over, one of us would get hard and the rest would follow, I think it's human nature to get aroused when someone else is showing their arousal and it can be fun watching each other walk around with their erections bouncing up and down. :)

(unless you were raised as a nudist) I think many of us forgethow potentially stimulating it wasto be nude in publicuntil we got used to it...whether alone or with others.Its not automatically wrong if we handled it correctly until our brains learned to separate sex and nudity.
I agree with this woman 100%!!!! More power to her for saying it. I've been a nudist and member of our club for over 10 years. In all that time I've never had a "Hard On" or saw one on anybody else. If you get one then something is on your mind.....even now for bringing this subject up in chat. She is right......talk about something else, a real subject for real nudists, not dick talk.

It is nice to get another woman's perspective. However, to many men, it is an issue. I think one of the biggest fears in life is the unknown, including doing something new. If being socially nude is new, then it's human nature to worry about things.
My biggest concern is upsetting other people. So, when I was thinking about being socially nude for the first time, my concern is doing something inappropriate. As any man, even when fully clothed, I sometimes have less control than I would like (usually when a surprise thought about Mar pops into my mind LOL) The idea of that happening in a nude environment was (is) worrying.
