Our Turn Now--Heat Wave in the US
Return to DiscussionsThere was a post several days ago about the heat wave in the UK-- well now it's
our turn. Today (Friday July 22) forty-eight of the fifty States
had temperatures that hit 90 degrees F (approx. 32 C) or higher.
Only States that didn't are Alaska and Washington State. Apparently
there's a ''heat dome'' sitting over the central US, high temps are
expected to continue until the end of the month. Great nudist
weather, but important to remember sun protection as well as
drinking plenty of water. Temps in some of the Southern states in
excess of 100 F.
Oh my goodness the weather lately has been crazy hot because of that heat dome. We have fans all over the house and out on the patio. Air conditioning costs too much to run it all the time so we both spend most of our time out back nude with a nice, big box fan. Somehow our refrigerator ice maker is managing to keep up with out usage for cold water all the time. We have also found that a spray bottle with water keeps us feeling refreshed. Plus, its fun to chase each other around the yard spraying each other...LOL.
