Naked At Home - 2014 / 2024 -
For people who like to be naked in the house...
How do u come out
Return to DiscussionsI agree with what you say and in fact I did try that for a while. I would have very long email chats, then move to long phone calls, and then the meetings/dates itself. Chemistry was great and it looked like a strong relationship could start. Problem was as soon as I mentioned "Nudist" then it was give up nudism or move on. A couple of them didn't want anything to do with me after that "horrible word". On your side you waited until you were already inthe relationship before you had the talk about nudism. I did that with my ex wife and you know how that went. But even after all the chats/calls and great chemistry with the others I always walked away feeling like I wasted a bunch of time. That drives me crazy! I could haveused that timedoing more important things. So if I chat with a woman, and sense chemistry, I will be up front and honest and mention Nudist after two or three emails. Saves me a lot of wasted time....lol
How do u come out to your spouse u like being nude ?
you walk up to them naked and say, i like being naked :)That should be all it takes ... but, as you can see (read), that doesn't always work for some! :D
I'm just glad and very fortunate that my GF/Wife said ... "I like being naked too! Let's be naked together!" :D
Sit down and talk about it. That's what I did with my kids when they came to live with me after I'd been living a nude life at home for five years. They had seen me nude in my room when spending time at my house, but now that they were going to be living there we had to talk.

Have any of these suggestions helped any? Have you informed your wife of this yet? If so, how has things turned out? I'm sure the ones that have commented here would like to know. So let us know how it went, or are you still waiting to tell her?
I just got naked when I had a chance which wasn't very often. She,
and I, had no problems being naked around the children but she
thought nudity should be confined to the bedroom and bathroom. She
accepted my interest in nudity in art - both collecting and
creating nude pictures and statuettes. That was all.
So I didn't really get into nudity until after she died. Then I
just told the children. They weren't a bit surprised. They are all
happy with the time I spend on sites like TN, with my many nudist
holidays and with mu nudity when home alone. But they object to
seeing me naked and I respect that. BTW I was outed the whole
village by someone seeing me through the window. He told everyone
at school, his dad told everyone in the pub and his mum told
everyone else. They did me a good turn. I can happily talk about it
anytime. Now I make no secret about it. Everyone around me knows
I'm a nudist, including workmates and wider friends,

I do wonder if the word nudist is the problem.
I am a nudist but even I don't like the word. There are decades of indoctrination of society that nudists are weird and scary. They're all placard carrying protesters.
I am not a nudist, I am someone who enjoys the comfort and relaxation of not having to wear clothes, and who enjoys the feeling of the sun on my skin. I don't go carrying placards and I'm not weird (hopefully)
Not referring to myself as a nudist I think has definitely helped with Mar.She really wouldn't refer to herself as one
I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I was going to a cabin with my wife, hoping to get her to be naked with me. Well, she took a baby step and sat on a dock with me for a long time talking. She liked it! But the true surprise for me was what happened when we left. I lamented that after a week naked I had to put my clothes back on for the trip home. She said, "Dont get dressed! I'll drive home." So I rode naked with her for the 100 miles home. It was a great week!

Congrats. Sounds like she is getting more comfortable with nudity and understanding it. Baby steps...
