Nude alone w/clothed wife - question

Return to Discussions

At first, I posted this in the "Nude alone etc" thread but then
realized it might be considered a hijack. So I deleted it
right quick and posted here. Anyhow, this had its origin in the
other thread.

I have a question. Were y'all already married when you found
nudism? Or did you get married knowing that your bride wasn't
into it? I've lately had thoughts about marrying my current
girlfriend. She's fine with my nudism but says she won't go there
until she loses weight. Problem is, I know her well enough to know
that she'll never get around to losing weight. So while my right
brain wants to marry her, my left brain keeps asking "are you
NUTS??". If you had it to do over again, what would you
do?

Edit: by the way, I'm just assuming that since your wife is not
into nudism, she won't see what your answer is here. But you're on
your own so don't blame me for any consequences lol!

]Not to rain on your parade, but there's almostnoting you can do to change someone's mind.
You're not raining. In fact, I think the point you're making
here is spot on. But she's not my wife.... yet. And I
was just asking the question to see what other guys had done, and
why, when faced with my conundrum. I've gotten a lot to think about in this thread.

Andy this is a point that of course I've thought about as I find it
a bit frustrating. We do the mad clothes dash when the
unexpected knock at the door happens and feel like 'Oh we can't get
caught like this?' My wife usually has that panicked flush
look of embarrassment each time while she is dressing at warp
speed. She's thinking they know we probably were naked.
I think 'So what?' Personally I'm very proud she is a
nudie.

When we started being home nudist she asked me "What if company
walks in and catches us?" I told her more than once to act very
natural, if anyone should feel awkward it's them for walking in and
finding us naked. Not us for being naked it's our home.
That's what I do when it's happened over the years but she still
gets all embarrassed.

I agree with you. The difference seems to be that we do not allow
unannounced visitors to enter our home without being invited.
Frankly, our front door is always locked. Maybe living in rural
areas allows many others to live with their front doors open and
unlocked but that also contributes to unannounced visitors just
letting themselves in and that, for us, is not acceptable.

I don't think, for us, it's a nude thing. It's a matter of respect
from those you may bevisiting or might be visiting you. You never know what's going on in the
house you're about to enter, uninvited and unannounced. For
some/many that allow this, it's your choice, obviously, but I think
if you allow this to occur, you can't complain that you can't be
naked in your own home because this situation happens all too
often.

As I am typing this, Di is decorating the house for Halloween. I
love watching her so comfortable with decorating for each holiday,
while naked. We had to decorate the front porch. She slipped on the
sheer dress and I slipped on the sheer shorts. Once done, we came
inside and stripped immediately at the front door as it was
closing. It's such a normal and natural action. If someone were to
come over and just walk in ... they'd get a real surprise. Or,
maybe not! :D

I know what you mean. When we first moved to Cal-a-for-nee 26 years ago we lived in an apartment and I often didn't bother to lock the door. Several times a person would open the door and start to walk in mistaking our apartment for theirs or thinking they were entering a friend's place. I knew it was all innocent, but it got me to always lock when going inside. That still stands today.
