That hasn't inserted the picture. It's just shown us where on your computer the picture is.
To upload a picture to the group, you can use a number of methods.
1) Go to the "Media" section of the group, and choose "Upload"
2) Post into the group and attach your photo to that post
3) Put your photo on some other web site and add a link to that site in your post
