Naked At Home - 2014 / 2024 -

For people who like to be naked in the house...

I can't really say this is a new development because I saw this coming and accepted the situation for what it is. I have a roommate these days and my home is no longer entirely mine. I didn't need to take on another renter but it is my best friend's little brother and while I can afford the apartment on my own I'll never be able to save for the down payment on a house if I continue paying full rent. Being that it is winter here I haven't felt the need to be nude much around the house (though it is a nice day and I am right now) but I'm not out to his sister yet. I know she doesn't have an open mind to this particular lifestyle and so I'm going to have to spend a lot more time at the beaches and my local non-landed club. While it is a loss at home, it is going to force me to be a little more social this summer and that is a good thing. I do miss the freedom here though.

RE: New flatmate

Why worry about your flat-mate's sister? Your flat mate may have a very different attitude. Why not give it a try?

RE: New flatmate

obviously your new flatmate knows you are a nudist and comfortable with your nudity. As long as he warns you his sister is coming round in time for you to get dressed to spare her blushes.

Though we do not nor have we ever had this type of situation, we have had non nudists come to stay and stay for extended periods and we've had to stay dressed the entire time. It does put a damper on your life but like you, we adjusted and took off for the day and spent the day at the beach or at our club.
One other thing that will cause us to revamp our nudist lifestyle is that, we plan on moving in about 10 years. Unknown what shape we'll be in but I'd like to move to a high rise condo/townhome with a view of the ocean or bay. When that happens, we'll lose our private backyard so we'll have to do like you are going to do ... more trips to the beach, our club or to another club nearby. I think many of us just adjust to the changes in our lives and in our surroundings.
Good luck with your new flatmate.

One of those places, AndyDi, is of course Black's we should plan that meetup sometime this spring. I seem to recall that is your neighborhood-ish.

RE: New flatmate

Its good that you have respect for your flat mate and his sister. Its also a tough subject to broach. If there is a way you can feel comfortable asking him about it see what his attitude is. Or possibly start wearing less and less to get him acclimated before discussing it. If he's positive, then as stated in another post, be sure he warns his sister. She doesn't have to have the whole story. Maybe something like, "Warn us so we're not just getting in or out of the shower."
And yes, in the L.A./Orange county area its tough to have privacy because of the crowding and costs. Either you have to room with people or houses are crammed too close together like us.

I'd love to spend the day down there again soon. My wife will go but hates ... I mean HATES the trek down and especially back up. Not real sure footed and the trail scares the clothes right off her! I'll make it down there!

Yeah, that isn't an easy hike. The guides I found online kept me away for a long time.
