Naked At Home - 2014 / 2024 -
For people who like to be naked in the house...
React to a Nudist
Return to DiscussionsI've been divorced and living alone for the last 10 years. When married I enjoyed being nude but rarely did it because of the ex. She didn't like nudity, would hate it if I came in the bathroom during her shower or catch her changing clothes. Right after the divorce I visited the local nudist club. I loved it! I was hooked for life! I became a member and knew right off I was a true nudist. Because of the past, my goal all these years has been to find a woman to be my nudist partner in life. Problem is when I'm at the club it is awkward to "search" for a partner. Couples are already a bit aloof to singles, afraid your a troll looking for a hookup. Since I can't find one there I decided to search on a regular online date site. I do the normal profile, telling all that I am, hobbies, likes, dislikes, etc. And I do get a response now and then. I keep it going with the emails to see if there is chemistry and comfort with each other, then I open up and tell them I'm a nudist. Oh geez.....the reaction I get. Only a couple like the idea, but are very scared of it. A lot say they respect it, thinks it is cool, but never will be something for them. And then there is the rest.....lol. Oh my.....one emailed me over and over to go seek mental health help. Needless to say....the word Nudist makes the brakes screech to a halt.....LOL. What is a person to do?????
Sorry to hear about your problem. Finding a nudist wife, GF etc, it is like finding a good Dr., lawyer, dentist, just keep putting yourself out there, being open and honest with all the women you meet. It is difficult being alone, but there is always someone when you don't expect it, it will happen. Hang in there and keep trying.
You could attack this problem head on and start a site for nudists seeking relationships with other nudists, making clear that you are not looking for swingers. There does seem to be a need for such a site, but controlling it could be very difficult. Good luck to you anyway!
Put it right in your profile, so the women who reply already decided that was not a deal breaker. You might also look for profiles who have clues they might be open to it, like "enjoys skinny dipping" in their profiles. Maybe put something similar in yours. You want to make it funny exciting, not creepy scary.

You've joined a club ... do they have a singles group? Our club has a singles group and they are quite active in helping with events and festivities. Maybe someone in the group can introduce you to someone that is female and also a nudist or ... they know of someone that may be interested in dating and on the fence with nudism. There are some possibilities.
;-)
I do not have any suggestions as I've been out of the game forever and plan to stay that way. But the previous post got me thinking how I would be totally lost like you. The suggestion about looking back at how you met women in the past would not work for me. I met my wife of 31 years in high school. I really don't think I'd go back to high school. :)
Luckily as I developed my interest in nudism over the years my wife has been accepting and has even joined in. I definitely have been blessed and am sorry that the OP and others were not blessed into the same way.
I've occasionally joined naturist dating sites. They fall into 2 categories-
- They show there's 100s of women near you but when you've finally logged on there's only a handful, not your age range and nowhere near you
- You immediately get graphic offers from 'ladies' inviting you tojoin them on cam elsewhere

Exactly. Not many women join a nudist dating site to meet a nudist man. 99% of those female profiles are fake and put there by the Site to attract real members (who join, realize it's fake, and then leave). And the few legitimate nudist women that do join, have many 100's of men to choose from before they ever notice your message in their jammed packed inbox. And that's assuming your message even gets into their inbox when it's already full. Just join a mainstream dating site and roll the dice like everyone else. Your chances are far better there of meeting someone that's willing to try nudism than your chances of even getting in touch with a legitimate female nudist on a nudist dating site. But it won't be easy no matter where you look. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. So don't spend 100% of your time obsessing over it. Life's too short for that. Just enjoy life first and when the right one comes along, let that be the icing on your cake. I think most adults still meet mates through their work, or special interest clubs (i.e. Meetup Group), or friends of friends, or the truly old fashioned sure fire way, in bars ;-) Point being, dating sites are not the only way.
I was where you are my friend. My ex didn't have the issues with our own nudity in the bedroom or the bathroom, or even in between. However when our second child started school things did get a little more private. She didn't like the kids to see us naked for fear of them saying something at school. Needless to say after our divorce I did start to live a nude lifestyle, and visited my first resort as well. I to dated a couple of women who were not comfortable being nude, outside of sexual encounters, and of course I was so those relationships didn't work out. I am now re-married to a wonderful woman, who is totally comfortable with the nudist lifestyle. So there is hope for you, I don't think it's something that has to be discussed on the first date though. Get to know them and build the usual trust before you introduce the idea to them, at least then they shouldn't feel the need to suggest mental help.
