More comfortable nude around the opposite sex
Return to DiscussionsFor some reason I find that I am more comfortable being nude around females in general. It's not a sexual thing, as I strongly believe that nudity doesn't equate to sex. I feel that our actions and words are what can make things sexual and not just the act of being nude itself. I think that it might be because I haven't gotten much experience being nude around others socially. And the few friends that I have been nude around and know of my nudism are female. This might have something to do with that, but I still feel that in general I feel more comfortable around females.
I was wondering if anyone else feel the same way too?

Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels this way. I hope that after going to more social events I'll be more comfortable around everyone equally.
I think one issue here, in an 'online setting' - versus meeting men and women in person at a resort or someplace similar - is until you get to know someone , as much as is possible online, you have to be 'aware' of what I might call the 'perv factor' {for lack of a better name}. I think that is more likely to occur with males versus females. And that is {mostly} irrelevant of what that person's listed sexual orientation is.
{I hope that makes sense, I cannot word it any better than that....}
I believe the feeling you have around nude males is pretty common. It wears off as you become more socialized as a nudist. One thing that helps a lot is to do an activity with nude men such as tennis, bowling, darts, whatever, your mind is focused on the task at hand. The next time you see those nude men you will have fond memories of activities you did together.
