This is perhaps an aged old argument, but throwing it out there anyways.

In my nudist world, wearing nothing at all is practicing nudism. Doesn't matter if we are at home, on a beach, walking in the mountain, alone or with others. The point is we are not wearing any clothing, any coverings. in essence we are making a point to not wear clothes of any description. The entire body is bare. Top to bottom, front to back.

I have had discussions with many over time about what they deem a person to be a nudist. Many, sadly, think one has to be out in nature and be with others to be a nudist. To be communal, to join a club, I really do not understand that. So, If a person was living in an isolated part of the country, literally hundreds of miles from a beach, hours away from a club or social place and I read about nudism I've never heard about before (say online), and then give it a try and liked it and then continued to live naked forever thereafter, I'm not a nudist? That's just weird to me.

Reiterating the above, Making a choice to NOT wear clothes is in fact being a NUDIST. Perhaps not in the way it was practiced when it was instigated all those decades ago, but nevertheless, it still is Nudism.

What I also find hard to get, is when someone says they live naked at home with a T-shirt on (DonaldDucking they call it - which to be quite honest is ridiculous using a cartoon character as a valid term of a state of dress) But the fact that someone is WEARING a T-shirt means they are actually not living naked at home! Yes?

I understand that at clubs, resorts, when the weather is not conducive to being fully naked, some sort of covering is used. (In my experience, it's been just a T-shirt) However, I question why not get fully dressed; like bottoms on too. That's what I do. I know, people will say what I'm going to say is very black and white, but I am either fully naked or I am fully dressed. I make a choice to practise Nudism. That is to be fully naked.
