Return to DiscussionsThere are some rules for re-varnishing a village (community) hall floor. (1) get totally naked (to avoid varnish splashing on the clothes); (2) open all the curtains and blinds (to see if any bits have been missed); (3) you really aren't interested are you?
I spent 3 hours varnishing the 126 sq m hall floor this morning following all the rules. It was good that I was naked. I stood on a bit I'd already varnished, slipped and fell onto the sticky wet floor. My clothes would have been ruined! Maybe I should have turned the lights on too. But anyone passing by could see in.
