Return to DiscussionsI picked out a 9MM for concealed carry today, but I can't decide on which color to get. The model comes in several: black, black and silver, tan/desert brown, olive drab, hot pink, etc., etc. What do you think is the best color for a concealed carry gun?

Hot pink for sure. Easy to conceal in cotton candy.

I would suggest basic black, the idea being concealment after all.

Since Texas passed the open carry legislation....."printing" is no longer an issue...

I love the idea of open carrying, and I also have a shotgun in the van when traveling.
"Printing," and open carrying are still issues as some people still have a problem with either or both. I try to avoid confrontations when possible.

It's a matter of what I like...just personal preference.

which 9mm did you pick out?
Russ, I don't remember the model number, but it will be a Sccy, probably. They're accurate, reliable, etc.

I had never heard of SCCY till now....had to go look that one
up......for 9mm....I carry a Browning HP.....or a S&W
686.....

when I lived in Amarillo.....we used to go up to the Canadian....had a
4x4...and we would go west on the river bed....to shoot...and spend
time naked...
