I'm going to be traveling down the Coast...From Lincoln City to the Glass Beach in California. I'd like to visit a nude beach along the way. The only places I've found so far are Collins and Rooster Rock, both up by Portland. Are there any other places along the Oregon Coast to slip away and out of clothes??!!

Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area near Florence is a great place if the weather is warm enough. Just stay away from the dune buggy area and wander the foot trails in the non-motorized area. Public nudity is legal in most places in Oregon and particularly so on federal lands. Just dont try it at the trail head, in campgrounds, or other similar areas. Have fun and let us know how it went.

Would love to try this area out in Florence.
As evidenced by many of my photos, the only other place where I slip out of my clothes near the water in Oregon is at remote stretches of the S. Umpqua River. I've done the dunes. Not bad. Don't like that there are fast moving dune buggies around. They can cover a lot of distance quick, so it doesn't matter how far you think you've hiked out, a dune buggy could still come upon you. Oh well.
