lol! That popped into my head when I read it too. And it's funny how when most people refer to east coast/west coast, they're thinking in terms of almost 3,000 miles. But when Florida peeps refer to east/west coast, they're thinking a little over 100. :-)

K, Sarasota to Miami = about 200+ mi. in a car. And approximately the same in the other direction.
Sounds reasonable for a daysail to me.

I had an O'Day 25 for a few years. I like the Catalinas also. Looked at a couple before deciding on O'Day.
