Unfortunately I must advise all readers that the Pool we used has now been sold and development work is now in motion. This leaves us with the unfortunate case of No pool to meet in and swim. I wonder if all members of this group can look out for any possibility of starting at a new location somewhere in London.

Return to DiscussionsFor those of you who are not aware Birkbeck University is finalising the purchase of the lease on the Student Central building from the University of London. The University of London has now told students that the swimming pool and gym will be closing permanently.
There is a petition to save the pool, that you can sign electronically, can be found at: https://studentsunionucl.org/save-our-pool
