Skype is closing down
Return to DiscussionsSkype is closing down in May 2025 and I wonder how others feel about this. Personally, I really liked Skype and thought it was probably the best and easiest to use especially with extras that other systems didnt have such as phone calls. Zoom and Teams can be quite complicated so I suppose it will have to be Whereby in the future which is easy to use but lacks keeping messages or contacts. I have been with Skype since day 1, even when it was basically just text chat without video. I made and found a lot of friends on Skype and will really miss it.
