Im looking for virtual and in-person Spanish and English intercambios.
Many years ago I coordinated weekly 1-on-1 and group sessions at Starbucks, in Central Park, and various other suggested places by the participants.
We were native English and Spanish speakers from all walks of life and varying levels of natural and academic tutors and mentors.
What made it successful was practicing and living the languages. We met for loosely-structured intense practice sessions (verbal and written), and then some of us continued to a bar, caf, or another place.
This is who and what I want again, to live and breathe Spanish in a variety of situations. Once a week on Telegram, WhatsApp, or Google Talk doesnt work for me.
I learned best with the immersion method. Are you in? Will you budget a few hours a week virtually and in-person this summer and fall in and around New York City?

Please list your native language and previous or current verbal and written level in the opposite language you want to improve and strengthen.
The goal is to have an equal number of English and Spanish speakers before we meet in-person. I listed June 23rd as a preliminary date. If there isnt an even split, Ill postpone until such time.
