Return to DiscussionsI was at that debacle. The opening kickoff play set the tone and it went downhill from there.
My observations: Sanchez is just too damn inconsistent and, through no fault of his own was playing from behind from the get-go. I think that got into his head and made him want to "salvage" any play where all the receivers were covered and held onto the ball too long. Cooper pretty much sucks as a receiver. It was obvious that the stinkin Cowboys had no clue how to play the Eagles on Thanksgiving. Unfortunately for us, they watched the Eagles-Seahawks game and learned from them how to play the Eagles. If we had played the Redskins inbetween the games with the 'boys, we would have won handily again, despite Sanchez and Cooper.
It was not worth getting home at 1:45am to sit and watch that mess.
