as stated, in my opinion, it is not right/ok/respective to try and force one's own view onto someone else.
it is ok to agree to disagree without being disagreeable.
If a man answered the door naked, I would think of him as a pervert and not a nudist. I like that Andy would announce his nudity and not fully expose himself.
In Lees case being in his back yard and people coming around the house to where he is is different in that there was no ringing or knocking. He could have been hosting a nude party back there.
I do not ever expect that I will answer my front door nude to a stranger because I have no wish to risk offending them. Or even a nudist friend because neighbors would see. I have a couple of acquaintances that expect me to be nude when I answer the back door, but I would not answer nude to a random knock. I had one experience when a neighbor unexpectedly entered my private back yard. That is quite different, and it worked out fine.
I'm nearly always naked at home during the day. I answer the door nude to nudist visitors. And I keep a robe behind the door for other visitors. But yesterday a delivery man knocked the door so insistently that I just answered it while still naked. I half hid behind the door. That was no use as he had two big heavy parcels for me. I had to fling the door open and take each parcel in both hands, ono by one. Then I had to sign for them. The delivery man must have seen this before - he took it all in his stride as if nothing was out of the ordeinary
I only answer the door nude when one of my nudist friends arrive. In winter I keep a robe near the door and in summer, a pair of very small running shorts. There is a sign on the door that says - This is a nudist household. some nudity may seen.
