Joys of Being a Nudist Bodybuilder
Return to DiscussionsMinimalist75, I didn't know bodybuilders used to train nude in male-only locations. Also, I don't know anybody who thinks you can't both a bodybuilder and a nudist. I just know that one of the tenets of nudism is body positivity. A lot of people think that if you're a nudist, you should believe all bodies are beautiful and that you don't think that if you're trying to change the way your body looks. I've never met anyone like that luckily. I just feel like that's the attitude some people would have towards nudism.

You are way to young to remember it. I saw it a few times in the 70's and 80's and heard and read about it more often.

I joined a men's athletic club in the early 80s. They went on and on about how the weight/exercise room is NOT clothing optional -- the rest of the club was clothing optional.
I didn't figure out why they were making such a big deal of it until about 20 years later. Then, suddenly, Oh, the entire place used to be clothing optional. Duh! I'm guessing the switch to having the weight/exercise room be clothing required was fairly recent when I joined.

What areas beside the pool were clothing optional?
