Return to DiscussionsHave you ever been to Serene Lake in the Mt. Hood National Forest? Great place, been there many times. About half the time had the entire lake to myself for an overnight or a whole weekend. Water is crystal clear and warm enugh to swim after Mid July. Hike in starts at Frasier Campground and is a moderate 2.5 mile backpack. The last time I was there (Aug 2010) for an overnighter I was naked from trailhead to trailhead. Directions available from Mt. Hood National Forest information or in the backpacking book "Exploring Oregon's Wild Areas" by Sullivan.
My wife and I just visited Mountaindale Sun Resort last weekend for three days. Took a tent and camped. Really wonderful people and great property. A pool, hot tub, sauna, showers and some hiking trails. It was her first time to a resort and took a couple of hours, but soon she was nude and loved it. Planning a trip back in a couple of weeks at her request.
Hmm. That sounds like a pretty great place. Might have to check that out before summer disappears completely around here. It is hard to find water that isn't populated by large numbers of people around here. Is the trail a pretty easy hike or more strenuous.
