Coughlin out in NY?
Return to DiscussionsAs usual, the rumors are flying around here now that Tom Coughlin's job is in jeapordy. Then again, a lot of Giants fans have wanted to see him and most of the staff go for a while now. The rumor mill has it Bill Cowher is interested in the Giants head coaching spot. Will be interesting to see what happens. If the Giants don't make it through the playoffs (or even make it to the playoffs), I have no doubt some heads will roll.
From one of the analysts on Fox today, Coughlin's job is safe unless the Giants implode. since they did not do that, he looks safe for the time being. However, since they did not make the playoffs, that is not going to stop some of the fans for calling for his dismissal. I'll have to see what some of the Giants famns at my gym say about it this week. After the meltdown 3 weeks ago, many were calling for the whol;e staff to go (except Fewel).
