Return to DiscussionsEven after preseason games it can still be hard to tell about a team. My Bears have stunk up many a preseason, and went on to do well in regular season. Hell, just look at that 85 team. I think with too many guys knowing they're safe and know they will start a true effort isn't always put forth in preseason. I have always like the fourth preseason game, or as I like to call it "Who is Gonna Work at Walmart" game. In that game guys will really bust their tail to stay on the team, and to showcase themselves to get picked up by someone else. With that being said I think my boys may be alright, I just hope no starters get hurt. Second string guys worry me a bit. GO BEARS!
Caught the Bucs last night and they were hitting on all cylinders, at least with Jamis at the helm, but no reason to get too excited until the leaves up north start to change. Still enjoying the beach and all the summer Sheeat....cant put too much attention into the gridiron. Not that I won't be all-in when they are playing for real, and there is some strategy to the game planning other than "lets give this kid a look".
