First Hike of the Year

Got my first naked hike of the year in this past weekend. It felt so fricking good. It was just a tad chilly when a rare breeze kicked up. What cracked me up is that I came across two other hikers wearing down jackets (This was on a clothing optional trail in southern Colorado.) The hike was also significant in that it was my first since I've suffered a series of injuries to one of my legs starting last June. Now back home, there is still a foot or more of snow on the ground.

How did the other hikers react? And how did you react?

Is this a well-known c/o trail? If so, can you share which one? I'd have to get out that way to try it. Or you can PM if you don't want it publicized.

The Orient Land Trust. All the land in the trust is C/O, 2200 acres plus. Thus, it's no big deal to hike naked, and anyone there is expecting to see naked people. It gets more interesting if you extend your hike out onto the BLM or USFS land. This is pretty well known. It's the home of Valley View Hot Springs.

One of my favorite places. Went there twice, camping overnight at the Valley View Hot Springs, camping both times. Wonderful place. Wonderful staff, members, and guests. Just magical.
