Nude Hikers
Any & all Nudists who have & shall enjoy a Nude hike, of any length, along any trail, well trod or self-blazen; whether amidst tall timbers in a rich forest, parallel to caressing waves along a sandy beach, circuitously passing ageless stones in a high desert or wherever the proximate terrain allows for spending several hours hiking Nude & feeling the Freedom of brushing against the Wonders of...
Group Needs a Moderator
Return to DiscussionsThe moderator of this group has not logged in for over a year. It is not a huge deal, but a good way to discourage spam posts (like the prior post) is to just delete them. If anyone wants to step up, you just need to contact the site admin. I've already done this for other groups.
I have a nude hikers of the Western US group, so I really don't want to Mod another. We do a little hiking but not enough to qualify as hikers. Our favorite hiking spot was a C/O club south of us and has now gone textile. My wife enjoys hiking but really loves naked hiking and now that it's gone where we didn't always have to wonder if we were going to offend someone on the trail. Best of luck finding a new Mod!
You'll have to unblock me for me to tell you.
I had also asked you why you blocked me.
I sent you a message a few days ago as you requested, but you probably didn't get it because you had blocked me.
I believe you can still send me a message,
If I am correct, would you please do so?
Okay, I'm puzzled as to why it's so important for me to unblock anyone I've blocked, or explain why I have. I don't understand the importance of everyone having access to my profile?
First, I visit other profiles ONLY because they have requested to join my groups. ONLY for that reason.
I screen every single person that visits my groups and decide whether or not they are a good fit. I look for the number of friends, what kind of friends, the number of groups, what kind of groups, their photos to see if they are following the rules set forth by TN admin.
I then look at their group and forum discussion numbers and content. IF I've read something in your profile or in your posts, that doesn't align with me or I disagree with completely, why would I continue to have contact via my profile? If I see and find I we don't really have anything in common, there's no reason to allow you to continually visit my profile in an effort to see something, maybe I don't want to share.
Minimalist, in the beginning, when you started here and began posting replies to posts, all you ever asked was, "did you have a shirt on?" You also inquired as to how to get your profile from Undies to a higher level. When it was answered that it's predicated on post numbers, you went crazy with these "did you have a shirt on, do you wear a shirt" answers. I took it as you were trying to get those post numbers up so you could become an Ultra Nudist. Those post numbers have NOTHING to do with status level in the nudist/naturist community. The content of your posts is what matters to me personally and as a Mod here. Just off the top of my head, a red flag was thrown when we first crossed paths here.
We have serious nudists here and they are being overtaken by fakes, pervs, bots, spammers and those that want nothing more to do than look at naked pictures. I upload a ton of pics of nudists doing things that corelate to the group. Because of that, I get tons of requests to join my groups. When I screen those, I find that there are more here that really don't care about nudism and don't care about contributing more than one- or two-word sentences to a topic OR don't post anything for months and months and have collected 100's of friends and dozens of groups and never seem interested in doing anything else here except collecting friends to see pictures and collecting groups to look at those pictures.
Still, I'm unsure why it's such an issue to be blocked. I've blocked people here for many reasons from blank, private or minimally filled out profiles, no profile picture (another reason I probably blocked you), profile pics where, typically, a male member will have their penis in view but not their face.
There are so many reasons and I've exhausted my space here with this rant. One last thing, I joined TN right after it launched. I believe the first name for this site was Nudebook, a kind of Facebook for nudists. When it changed to TrueNudists, it began going downhill from then. The numbers of members increased tramatically and the content went south in a steady decline. So much so that the owners had to develop another site TrueSwingers, to keep the content separate. It never really solved the issue. Because of this, I'm very selective of who I allow access to my profile.
Minimalist, I sent this to you as a message but decided to leave this here for those that will continue to block me. Maybe they'll read it and look through their profile and might understand why they are blocked by me.
The main reason I'm looking at one's profile is to check location (perhaps relevant to a thread) or because I liked a comment of yours and wish to 'mine' your profile to read (and perhaps respond) to your other contributions. Apologies if I've stepped on your lawn...

This is completely understood, and I've never blocked ANYONE who's visited our profile unless they have a block, private profile. Then, that same person revisits our profile over and over and over again, sometimes a dozen times within a few minutes. What's the point? THOSE are the people I tend to block. In our profile, it mentions, in some form to leave a message. That's simple enough but many won't do it. Their profiles say, "like to meet likeminded people," yet their profile is filled out so minimally, it doesn't mention what they are interested in to find likeminded people.
Some of you may have been lumped into the mix of the dozens of those that visit our profile page, and they just need to be blocked. When you do that as much as I do, it's possible that I just hit the Block button on someone I maybe shouldn't have. Apologies for that. Just like many here, I've been on these types of sites for almost thirty years, dozens of sites. I've Moderated entire sites with the same abilities only the owners have on this site. Those sites were ALL about nudism and many of the groups and people that are here would never be allowed on those other sites. They were sites of and for True Nudists and this place is far from that. With that, and my experience in moderating naturist websites, I feel I'm a damn good judge of character of people that visit and are members here.
People don't like being called out or outed or questioned about their intentions and actions. It's probably why many I have blocked, have blocked me as well. I won't shy away from telling anyone why I blocked them, but I can't if they block me too. If they are that concerned, they can unblock me, let me respond, if it's important to them and when it's said and done, they can block me again. I don't loose sleep over being blocked. But if I am, there's no way you'll get into any of the groups I Mod.

The main reason I don't like to be blocked has nothing to do with visiting profiles. There are times when it seems to be more appropriate to ask a follow-up question individually to the person who made the post, rather than publicly in a group or forum. If the person who posted has blocked me, I can't do that.
When I visit a profile, it is usually for one of two reasons. Get to know more about someone who posts something interesting whose name I don't recognize. Check for posts I haven't seen from someone so that I can see if I want to join the group in which they appear.
