RE: Hiking pics

BTW, since we all take pics on our hikes, how come there are none uploaded for the group?

RE: Hiking pics

I have tried to upload hiking photos to this group. It seems that none have been approved.

Seems to me, that the moderator is not approving the photos

I just made a comment on another group about the same thing. This Moderator has not logged on in the last 3 months.
unfortunately this happens all to often where they loose interest or go on to other things.
It would be nice if there was some way for TN to go in to some of these groups and approve photos or new members.

RE: Hiking pics

Thanks for this discussion! I thought I was a bit of a freak, by documenting my nude outdoor adventures. Turns out, that I was wrong. :)LOL, amongst nudists I know there seem to be two distinct groups when it comes to taking photos of their nudist activities. For some its not something they do, while others see it as no different to photographing textile activities.
I respect those who don't want to be photographed naked, cameras at beaches and clubs are likely to attract disapproving looks at the least. Most of my nude beach photos were taken away from the main parts, usually with and by friends who also like to record the nudist side of their lives, taking nude hiking photos are another part of that. There seem to be two distinct groups amongst those friends who have nude photos of themselves, those who are happy to share and those who don't, I've taken a number of photos of some nudist friends but never seen the results other than on the camera screen, while other friends usually share their nudist photos when visiting or online, from times when we were together and from other nudist holidays and trips. I'm in the latter group, with nudist friends we spend more time together naked than clothed, we're very used to being nude together, sharing photos from our nudist activities seems a very natural thing to do.
With online friends on sites like TN I like to share nudist photos of where we go and what we do while nude, we're friends because of our shared liking for nudism, it seems very natural to share nude photos of ourselves, we're nudists! Taking photos while hiking nude is part of that as far as I'm concerned.

The new Apple Watch has cool selfie feature. Put iPhone in proper position, tripod it rock, and ask Siri to open camera app on watch. Bingo. You see on the watch what the camera sees. Live. You can tap watch to take timed burst or single photos. Great fun!!!

RE: Hiking pics

You don't have to be a paying member to administer a group, so time
commitments are the only issue the admin has to worry about. And
this group has to be public, or new members wouldn't be able to
join since the admin stopped maintaining it.

As the admin for a couple of groups, I know it is very easy to
promote additional group members to be moderators. When viewing a
list of members, the admin sees an extra button next to everyone's
name that will promote that user to a moderator. I don't know if
moderators have the same ability to approve pictures as the admin,
though.

Creating a new group is easy enough as well. Go to the main list of
groups by clicking on Groups at the top of the page and there
should be a button near the top of the screen that says create a
new group. If you are on a tablet you need to go into desktop mode
to see that button. Promoting the new group is the hard part.
