Nude Hiking Fingerlakes, NY
Return to DiscussionsHi there. I am hoping to know if there is interest with the idea of naturist hikes/walks in the Fingerlakes region of NY. I realize the legal challenge of such a hike in NY. It would be wonderful if a TN member had private property in the region to enjoy for a few hours every month. If so, please reply or send me a PM.
When I lived in CNY, I used to try to get to Six Mile Creek 4 or 5 times a summer. One time, i got there before 8am. I hiked from 100 yards in from the parking lot on Giles St. Past Potter's Falls all the way to the upper reservoir and back. I did stop at the falls for a couple hours, then another stop at the lower reservoir, then back to the parking lot. I passed several people along the way and nobody seemed to mind. There was a younger couple that stopped and chatted with me for about 20 minutes. When I got to within a few hundred yards of the parking lot, I heard children's voices so I put my shorts on. It was about 5:20 when I left. All in all I spent about 9-1/2 hours there, at least 9 of them nude and hiked almost all of the 6 miles each way nude. I remember that day fondly.
