Nude Home Office
For some time now, many employees and self-employed people have been engaged in a variety of office activities from home, both in business and in private. Whats the point when you usually work alone anyway, working completely naked during working hours? Actually, very little. Which one of you has the opportunity to work like this and who has already had good experiences with the textile-free...
Company Expectations
Return to DiscussionsAre any of you expected to dress the same way for video calls and meetings as you would if you were working on site. If so, do you dress that way completely or only what is visible on camera? Our grandson attends a small private school and he is expected to wear his full uniform for remote learning days.

The school has since dropped the uniform requirement for remote days.
HI. I have worked from home, even before the pandemic. I usually work nude. If I have to be on camera, I will just put on a shirt. However, on days that I have a big project or other things like that. I will dress as if I was going in to the office. It seems to help with focus and attitude. When I am nude, I am just too lax sometimes.
On days you dress fully, are you suit and tie or business casual?
While some of my friends have admitted to dressing very casually, or even not at all, when working from home, one said he can't concentrate in anything less than cargo shorts and a collared polo.
Fortunately, even in the office, we have a casual dress code. T-shirts, jeans, even shorts - all allowed, with certain guidelines, of course.. (Although Ive only worn shorts once since we moved into our current building about 8-9 years ago...AC turned down way too cold.) So, yes, they expect us to abide by the dress code on video calls. For me, that usually means a t-shirt and gym shorts or house pants - which generally come off as soon as the call is over.

By house pants, are you referring to what is often called lounge pants or sleep pants?
I have company virtual meetings and we are all sitting there talking but nobody can see but from waist up. I often do nude below and just have to remember NOT to stand up during the meeting - it might cause a 'rise' in the discussion! Especially since mostly females I work with in real estate. I'll have to post some photos of my daily work at least half nude and during summer mostly nude since out of the house - I just have to leave the camera off. AustinJohn

That is correct.
