Anyone in this group run into friend, coworker, neighbor or relative here on TN?
Return to DiscussionsI have "run into" clients, who I did not know as nudists...some of them appeared to be embarrassed when we met, but they quickly realized that I was also a nudist, and in a couple of cases, we became friends.
I thought that the odds were possible that the same thing might occur on TN, but so far, no one has responded..
I have actually found three people that I knew from the past that are members of TN. I already knew that two were nudists but the other one I had no idea. Years ago when I first visited a nudist resort in north Georgia, I saw a dentist and his wife that were from my hometown. Not really knowing how to approach them and whether or not it would be awkward, I loudly proclaimed that I had a terrible toothache and wished a dentist were nearby. Of course they looked in my direction, the awkwardness lasted about ten seconds, afterall we were at the same place doing the same thing. I discovered that about twenty people that I knew from my hometown were also members of that resort. Since this resort was over a three hour drive from home I was surprised so many folks that I knew were members there. Needless to say I joined before the weekend was over.
I ran into a sinngle female client at a fetish party about 6 months ago. We were both nude and with another person. since then our friendship has blossomed and we have been to a few venues together and are very much enjoying our new FWB friendship. {:-)
This is a group of over 1,000, and it would be interesting to see if anyone here has run into someone they did not expect to find on the True Nudist site...
Yeah, I've thought about that. I'm also paranoid about the possibility of running into someone I know when I go to nudist resorts or beaches! Of all the people I know, some of them HAVE to be nudists!
Well, if I get around to visiting a nude resort, I sort of hope I'll run into someone I know. At that point I'd know that he/she is also a nudist, as well as vice versa. Hence it's all wash, and we'd now have existing friends who are also nudists which we can invite for nude gatherings, etc.
Afew yearswhen i was managing a complex in southern california one of my residents walked into the office and with a big smiled asked me when we could get naked. The leasing agent looked at me in shock and i excused us and found out she had seen my profile on here TN. Although she was not a member she was able to see my profile. We did go to a few nude activities.i have since made my profile private due to my public jobi currently have. Some people lose their jobs for the dumbest reasons. other than that i'm a very social person.
I thought about what you said and was going to make my profile private . Then the more I thought about it the more I knew that I have nothing that I am ashamed about, and I am not a quitter or a looser, but I am a fighter of my rights. I am not copping out on defending what Ibe-leave what Is Not Wrong !
I would be thrilled to find folks on here that I know elsewhere.. friends, co-workers, etc.. It would be great since it's obvious we're both nudists, it could simply add to the experience that much more
I wouldn't mind either. It means we have something in common that we didn't realize before.
I did have the experience of going to a nude beach and meeting a friend I knew from a textile context. We had just never talked about being nudists. While I was certainly surprised, I was not embarrassed. He was sitting in a chair spread eagle and didn't try to become modest, so I assume he wasn't embarrassed either.
