Using the nude form in abstract ways. Not fine art,but attempting for unusual compositions.

RE: Not fine Art, The story behind it

This is one of the most unusual composites which I have ever created. More accurately, it evolved rather than being created.
My fascination with Photoshop is that unlike pure film photography, digital photography gives one the freedom to create Salvador Dali style surrealistic distortions of reality. It allows for dissimilar images to appear together in a manner which would never appear on film but by a miraculous double exposure.
Recently, I have been incorporating flower pictures, from my collection, using natures colors and patterns in the compositions.
I wanted to see if I could distort an isolated nude figure to appear curled inside a flower. The figure which I used was the closest I had in my collection but was unsuitable since it was taken in shallow water and there were no feet. I preceded to work on the distortion part of the project, then decided to see what I could do to disguise the lack of feet. I think the end result is interesting.
Regarding the kind comments from Lucas: I like the idea of a six by eight foot print for display but shudder at the thought of the file size necessary to produce a suitable print. LOL

It is interesting. You are way ahead of me in Photoshop pranks.

RE: Not fine Art

Pretty cool. You're way ahead of me in PS. I'm still trying to get my pictures right! Is that a swirl tool?
It's the Twirl filter in the filter menu in Distort. Note: Care must be taken not to apply too strongly, else, the image may become unrecognizable. If applied too strongly, go to Edit /Fade and fade until desired result is obtained.
Good luck!

RE: Not fine Art

It could be argued that it is fine art. It is a bit fairy land though. I for one would never want people to think of me as a fairy. Here's a really macho picture of me.
