As a runner in South Texas I have always wanted to strip down and run naked mostly because I was just hot. As I have learned more about naturism and my love for trail running I have decided to run a naked 5k. I am shooting for Chilly Cheeks on October 5 , 2024 at Star Ranch. Hopefully it goes well and maybe 2025 I can complete the series. Training starts now and fingers crossed but I think I planted the seed in wifes ear early enough that maybe she will accompany me for the weekend.
Has anyone else done a naked 5k? Do you have any tips especially for training?

Thanks everyone for the great advice and encouragement. I have been a runner for a long time and have done many 5ks but never an official nude one. The past couple weeks I have been able to run a few 4 milers on the trails nude. I am feeling more comfortable just being at pace and actually training naked. I want to be comfortable running naked and not have my first experience be over whelmed by the fact that not only am I running a 5k but now Im naked. I will keep everyone posted.Oh also I love running with weights I prefer a weighted vest over ankle and wrist weights though.Adam
There is one at Wildwood this weekend but that is not that close to you.
Living in NJ, I have to remember that in many states, everything isn't within 3 hours of any other place in the state!
I don't run, but a clothing optional resort within driving distance of me has a combined 5K race and 1 mile walk.
I may do the walking division next year.
Someone else on this board did the run this year and drove both ways nude to complete the experience.
Don't know if I am daring enough to follow his example!
