Could Dark Matter be gravity from other universes?
Return to DiscussionsThinking back to a special I saw on string theory a few years ago I recall that the string theory model describes gravity as a force that is not bound to our space-time in the same way that the other forces are. Given that our current observations of the matter responsible for most of the gravity in our universe seem to indicate that this matter does not interact with electromagnetic radiation in the same way that normal matter does, is it reasonable to propose that this gravity might be bleeding over from nearby universes?
