Return to DiscussionsFrom Michigan, but really want to try to go to a street fairs in San Francisco. Always wanted to be nude in public,but never had the nerve to do it. Hate to go alone and looking for someone else to go with if I go. Think that what I watched and looked of pictures of that the street are a experience to experience once in your life.
You could also ride in a World Naked Bike Ride somewhere. I really love doing them, and helping them organize them. Lots of happy nude people who will welcome you as a long time family member. You can then be nude in front of 1000's of people and show them it's natural.
Definitely worth doing Folsom and Dore. And rather than wait until you arrive before getting naked there, or waiting to see if others are naked or to see how you feel, just go for it and strip down as soon as you arrive. You will run into naked people pretty quickly--as well as people in every other kind of "outfit" you can imagine. Actually, friends and I walk to the festivals totally naked from home--about 20 minutes walk, and that's really amazing. San Francisco is quite a city.
Pro tip? Put on some sunscreen. That sun can get to you by the end of the day.
