The closet I got was the pool in the apartment complex we stayed at. Late at night, but it was also the culmination of leaving my clothes under a tree and walking nude to a nearby beach, and returning with a dip in the pool as i returned. Didn't encounter anyone.
Saturday morning before breakfast I was the only one in the hotel pool so I tied my swimsuit to the lane separation rope and got a quarter-hour of naked swimming before anybody else entered. I swam back to my swimsuit and wore it for the rest of my swim.
Hopefully one day i will find a hotel pool empty, every time i go for a dip there is always someone in the pool, previously i owned a pair of Kiniki briefs and i also cut out the liner, i am shave all the time so dont think anyone noticed

I find first thing in the morning before breakfast is usually a good time - especially at weekends, but some hotel pools with a local membership scheme are crowded with swimmers who like to swim before they go to work.
Used to travel for work and would stay at the Radisson brand of hotels in the Chicago area, the hotel I stayed at got to know me and gave me al the perks of being a member. I asked how early the pool opened in the morning since i tried to go for a swim before heading to work. Pool officially opened at 6am, but the host checking me in coded my card for 5am so I could swim before work, 1st time I used this feature I wore a bikini swim brief (no liner) very light blue, so sheer when wet. I didn't care since i assumed I would be the only one. I was in doing laps when a older man came in and jumped in and started doing laps also, He had to get out to answer his phone, that's when I noticed his thong. When he finished his call I asked are thongs OK to wear. He answered normally nude is acceptable at this time of day since it is restricted area. I responded OK and slipped my suit off and placed around my neck, and resumed swimming. He rejoined the pool and at some point he took his suit off. I swam for another 10 minutes or so and got out, went to shower the chlorine off me and the suit. He came in a bit later and did the same.
We met in the breakfast room after getting ready for the day and talked. Met him the next morning at the pool, no suits for either of us once inside the pool area, What a great way to start the day
