Another use for tan-through swimwear
Return to DiscussionsMy wife and I use tan-through swimwear for swimming at textile hotel indoor pools.
The reason for this is twofold. They are usually more comfortable to swim in than Lycra and they dry incredibly quickly. Simply roll them in the hotel's towel immediately after drying yourself and by the time you have dressed they will be dry enough to take back to your room in your pocket.
No more dripping swimsuits over the bath.
I ordered a micro brief and received mistakenly a tanga from Kiniki. Then they shipped me a micro brief at no cost.
I ordered my usual size M, and both brief and tanga were OK for me; true-to-size.
My brief does not reveal crack and it just barely covers pubic triangle. However, when sitting down, it tends to roll down and does show to just above shaft. I'm a nudist and that doesn't make me uncomfortable.
Besides my wife, 2 other older friends have seen me with brief and I have received no complaint or comment, which I would have for sure heard from my wife as she is quite vocal about this.
Tan is definitely not as if you were naked, but then I tried to show my tan lines to a TN friend and photos didn't show them even in bight sun light.
I find both suits more comfortable and much less tight and restricting than previous normal speedos.
Looks like the tangas actually do a better job of covering the pubes and crack than the minimal briefs, even though they show more on the side.Do you agree?I totally agree and I have fount them totally acceptable in all the places where I have worn them in public.So far these are several hotel swimming pools , the sunbathing terrace of a textile boutique holiday hotel and the busy town centre beach in front of the hotel.Again, my wife made absolutely no objections and she would certainly have told me is there was the slightest degree of inpropriety.
You have noted that your wife is very particular that nothing shows through your clothing.
How does she feel about you being nude in some of the unusual places and situations you have noted?
I have the Cooltan brand swim suit. It fits well and if I have to wear something that's what I go with. If we're at a hotel pool at night I'll enter the pool wearing the suit but once I'm under the water I slip it off and keep it in my hand in case someone comes by.

I believe Kiniki is less costly than Cooltan

Yeah, they are not ideal in that respect, they don't let all the sunlight through and the elastic let's 0% through. Still good for the quick-drying properties, though, and when the wife's suit is, despite the claims, still slightly see-through.

Supposedly if you use spf 50 and don't put any on the area the suit covers, it should be even except for the elastic.
I guess if you used spf 100 you might get a faint reverse tan line!
