I learned to swim nude, both in the local YMCA and in the Yale Payne Whitney Gymnasium pool on Saturday mornings when I was a kid. We now have an indoor pool, which I haven't used enough lately. The pool is no longer heated. I used to swim 3/4 mile in 10-yard laps. I have to get back to that. All this swimming was nude, and I can't imagine going back to wearing a swim suit.
