How many drive nude doing fieldwork?
Return to DiscussionsHow many of you have drove tractor doing fieldwork nude? I would of liked to do it in the spring when putting crops in but I was in and out of tractor and other worker was close by. But during the summer I could do it when I was cutting hay both for myself and farmer I worked for. When on my tractor it was open station so I was open to complete sun so I wouldn't get a farmers tan. For the farmer I was in cab. I figured if I'm going to be in tractor all day might as well be comfortable if it's my tractor or bosses tractor.
I drove our tractors in the field when i could nude two were open no cab and two were with cab, would cut hay open cab but the bugs would be terrible. was close to edge of town so had to be careful of exposure. but several fields were way out in the open with 1/2 mile form roads. one way to not get tan lines!
This question reminded me of a story my grandmother told me over 50 years ago. She has a lady friend who was married to a farmer. This lady would work the fields from the center out topless. The corn on the outside would block view of her from the road and she could get a good tan without strap lines as her bare chested husband got. Apparently my grandmother saw this womans tanned breasts which might have been the start of another interesting conversation but my prepubescent self just took it as a matter of fact and moved on.
We live on the farm Hubby grew up on and while we do not do the actual farming hubby does the tractor work in our garden nude. We never wear clothes while working the garden or riding around the farm in the golf cart.
I never worked in the field naked but I spent time roaming the fields naked when a kid. Currently, I often drive the Cushman cart around the fields nude. Primarily, on the farm and in Florida, I only wear a pair of the shorts made by Cool Tan. They are tan-thru shorts. In Florida, I am completely nude all the time in the house. On the farm, I am nude inside and outside but always have a pair of the tan-thru shorts in case someone comes to the house. Growing up, I would play basketball in the hay mow nude. It was a common practice for dad and myself to remove dusty clothes on the porch and walk to the bathroom nude. I remember also washing hay chaft off with a hose outside. My friends and I swam nude in the creeks growing up.
