Return to DiscussionsI have many times thought about looking for a roommate to share utilities and the like and just to have someone to socialize with. Of course, would have to be a nudist.
But then I think of the loss of freedom to come and go as I please to stay up late and watch a movie. And what happens when my kids come to visit?
So, it never gets must past the fleeting thought stage.
I agree. I think I have become too set in my ways and have lived alone long enough to recognize that in myself. I set my own schedule, cook and eat food I want when I want and get to see people on my terms at times that work for me. It may make me selfish but I value my independence with only myself to answer too.
