NUDISTS WHO LIKE SEEING THEMSELVES
Whether you enjoy looking at yourself in the mirror, or even your own photos. If you're vain or just proud to be nude. Appreciating the beauty of nudity begins by appreciating it in ourselves.
Nude Self-portraits
Return to DiscussionsI started taking nude 'selfies' back in the late eighties, when my interest in photography took off, and I built my own darkroom in the loft. I've always admired the nude in art and photography, but being married, I was 'not allowed' to photograph naked women. So I became my own model. Digital photography wasn't available to me back then, but I got a great thrill seeing my naked body appear in the developing tray. The more pictures I took, the better I got at composition and printing. My body has changed, of course, over the years, but I still enjoy posing, and it makes me keep fit. I recommend a few toning-up exercises before commencing a session.
Not this year but in the past I've tried to do a different nude shot every day & added them to a 365daysnude group on flickr, think I tried it 5 times at least - since I've no longer got a car to run have stopped doing it - there would be too many the same
I love taking nude selfies.. in the mirror always but sometimes a bit riskier.
I went to a local arboretum on this closed day. I know how to get in and often walk the trails. This time, I just had to do a nude selfie...The dressed shot was my test photo
Next time I will wear sweat pants or shorts and slip on shoes. I had hiking shoes and pants, which was not good for rapid removal.I will also bring a remote shutter release for the iPhone.
anyone in central NJ/ bucks county want to join me?
Although a part time nudist from age 17 and a full time one since 2010, it has only been the advent of the mobile phone that enabled me to start taking selfies. Going to my first nude beach made me lose my shyness and my poor self image.
Now I am happy to take selfies as often as I can and to be photographed by other guys. My bf is now also very keen after watching me do selfies over the past 4 years! Is nudism and photography contagious?
Right with you! I started in the 90's. I am still an "amateur photographer". Entered a few pictures in an art show. Asked to do a special but had to say "no thanks" due to my just learning and working 50 hours a week on my day job/ 6 days a week.... But it was fun entering the show. Hard finding models in those days willing to pose. Some day would like to do a photo shoot of nudists. But you can learn a lot by taking photo's of yourself: poses, lighting, shades, cropping etc. Enjoy yourself and have some fun!
