Return to DiscussionsNow obviously none of us are prude or overly modest, but I find it exciting to pose in the mirror with one hand covering my crotch whether I'm taking photos or not. It's so coy and cute. My internal dialogue with another person goes something like: "yes I live totally naked and unashamed here but that doesn't mean I'll just parade around the house with my package out for you to see at any time! So for now I'll be keeping myself a little mysterious by placing my hand right here whenever were in the same room and I'm facing you frontally. After all, I'll still totally naked and without clothing if I'm only covering up with one hand." While posing in this manner I'll make serious, upset, sexy, or surprised faces. Anyone one else like to do this? I've seen pics on this site and elsewhere of guys doing it.
Oct . 19 , 2017 . If you pose with your crotch covered with one hand , why take the photo ? The whole idea of taking a nude photo of yourself is to show what you can't show in a public place . You may as well stay clothed . Yes , people wonder what you look like under that hand , but also why you are hiding it . The whole idea behind nudism is being able to be openly naked , whether that is at home or outdoors .
When taking photos of myself I make sure everything is seen , and well lit . Shadows have a way of wrecking a good photo . You want to openly show your penis , cunt , and ass , as a part of your whole body . That is who you are when you let others see you naked . Nudism is accepting everyone and their package , in whatever shape or form it is .
Covering your crotch with one hand is what you do only when you are suddenly found sitting there naked at the beach , when textile people suddenly appear , and you have no chance to put shorts on . To show respect towards them . Thanks . Steve
Agree as well. What's so neat about being a nudist is letting it all hang out--free in the breeze and visible to others. Speaking for myself, I wouldn't walk around in a nudist environment with a hand covering my dick, so it seems unnatural to do so in a photo. . . . and besides, I like showing everything to satiate others' curiosity.
Nonetheless, I believe in creative license when it comes to photographing oneself, and a strategically placed hand, G-string, or other subliminally erotic concealment is entirely acceptable. It's really about enjoying our bodies as well as fellow nudophiles', however they choose to present themselves.
I agree with most of you - a man isn't really nude with his bits covered. If anything holding a hand there is just drawing attention to them. So I prefer to be totally nude and exposed. Having said that I have taken coy photos for use on websites where full nudity is forbidden. And it is difficult to pass a fig tree without plucking a leaf for a bit of fun.
