I have to agree. I'm not sure if it is fake, but not having any photos or information about yourself is not inviting. If you sent me a friend request, I would deny it until I knew something about you. You have to offer something.
If I'm arranging to meet someone in the textile world there's usually a good reason why we're meeting, it might be for work type reasons, so we'd probably know something about each other's involvement in that area, but we may well not know what we look like.
If I'm arranging to meet other people who say that they're nudists for the first time, I like to know that they truly are nudists. Planning to meet nudists from the online world in the real one is more likely if we openly share full nude photos from my experience. There may well be reasons why some nudists don't post themselves fully nude online - work etc - my partner who is also a nudist has this problem with her work, but a nude shot with face obscured is a bit better and might make it easier to meet others. Swapping nude photos by private email can also help.
Simply speaking from personal experience, being open and upfront about being a nudist and posting fully nude photos in normal nudist settings, not indoor mirror type shots, available for anyone to see has only been a good thing to have done. I've met singles of both sexes, couples and groups of friends because we could all see that the others were genuine nudists beforehand.
Why the concerns? From time to time I meet nudists from TN, or TS. They can see me through my profile and group entries. Even if I don't see them so clearly I trust them to be nudists. Some communication is needed before the meet, if only to fix the time and place. If they are coming to my place they will get directions and a phone number. I will greet them naked when they arrive. If I visit them I will strip on arrival. (If they want to stay clothed that's up to them. Theycould hardly complain about my nudity.) So far I've never been disappointed. They have always been naked too. Our conversations range over all manner of topics which are of mutual interest.
Why the concerns?
Time wasters and fakes. I like to meet and hopefully spend time with other nudists. If I wanted to meet people who are going to stay clothed while others are naked, or not turn up at all, we'd ask for people who want to do that, neither I nor my friends have asked to meet people like that. If others here do, that's fine by me.
The name of both the group and this thread are 'Nudists who want to meet other nudists', so I thought it was to talk about nudists meeting nudists, not clothed people. As mentioned many times elsewhere on TN, there are some fakes and time wasters here, I'd rather meet true nudists than those kinds of people, so I'd rather have some clues that they are nudists beforehand.
