Nudists With Motor Homes & Trav
A group for nudists with motorhomes and travel trailers, where they can tell about their travels, associated problems. Also where RV owners can offer tips and advise to others, either about their vehicles or travel. A place to show off pictures of their vehicles and travel. Discussions of where nudists can park their machines and vacation destination for nude RV'ing is welcome.
Light Transport for RV's
Return to Discussionswe are still looking at purchasing a RV for our outback trips. We do not like the idea of pulling a car behind as this defeats the idea of off roading. But will still need some transport w/o having to drive the RV. Has anyone used a electric dirt bike to get around? Lightweight and street legal?
I commute on an ebike, and have taken ours camping. it would be okay for what you are proposing. most ebikes are limited to 20-25mph. Also the range at that speed is 40-60 miles. so you could go to a store about 30 miles away max. and you would be on the bike 2 hours. I have been kicking around the idea of a small motorcycle for camping. Honda has a line of bikes that would work well. The Honda Monkey, Honda Trail, Honda Cub, or Honda Grome.
I just realized you said electric dirt bike, sorry big difference. they do suffer from range issue vs. a similar weight gas bike. to get a decent range they are heavy. The Suron might be a good fit for what you are asking. still has a short range, but its fairly light for an electric motorcycle.
